Terms of Service

A free personal project. You use it at your own risk, and I accept no claims for losses.

1. Acceptance

By creating an account or using Dairy Hub, you agree to these Terms of Service and to the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

Dairy Hub is an independent personal project run by Rajat Malik. It is not a company, and these terms are not a commercial contract with any business entity.

Dairy Hub is free, you use it at your own risk, and I do not accept or honor any claim for losses arising from it. If you do not accept these terms, do not use the app.

2. What the service does

Dairy Hub records milk delivery business data — milkmen, daily entries, rates and payments — and produces reports. It can optionally back your database up to your own Google Drive account and restore it later.

The app is a record-keeping tool. It does not provide accounting, tax, legal or financial advice, and figures it calculates are only as accurate as the data you enter.

The app is for your own use, and whatever you record or decide with it is entirely yours. Dairy Hub is free: I do not charge you, do not take payments from you, and do not collect card, bank or billing details. The Payments screen only records amounts you enter for your own business; it does not move money.

3. Your account

• You are responsible for the accuracy of the information on your account and for keeping your sign-in credentials confidential.
• You must be old enough to form a binding contract in your jurisdiction to use the service.
• You are responsible for activity that happens through your account. Write to me promptly if you believe it has been compromised.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• use the service for anything unlawful, or to store data you do not have the right to hold;
• attempt to access another user's account or data, or probe, disrupt or overload the service;
• reverse engineer or resell the service except as permitted by applicable law.

5. Your data and backups

Your business records belong to you. Google Drive backups are stored in your own Drive account and remain under your control. I do not claim ownership of your data.

You are responsible for maintaining your own backups. Cloud backup is offered as a convenience and depends on third-party services. Restoring a backup overwrites the current contents of your database with the snapshot you choose, and that cannot be undone — export your data first if you are unsure.

6. Third-party services

The app depends on Google Firebase and the Google Drive API. Your use of those services is also governed by Google's terms. If Google changes or withdraws an API the app relies on, the affected feature may stop working.

7. Availability and changes

The service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. I may add, change or remove features, and may suspend the service for maintenance. I do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.

8. Disclaimer and limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the service is provided without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose.

I do not accept or honor any claim for any loss, damage or expense arising from the app or from your use of it. This includes, without limitation, lost or corrupted data, lost profits, missed or late deliveries, billing or record-keeping errors, business interruption, and any indirect or consequential loss, whether or not I was advised that such a loss was possible.

You use Dairy Hub entirely at your own risk. If you do not accept this, do not use the app.

Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

9. Termination

You may stop using the service and delete your account at any time. I may suspend or terminate access if these terms are breached. On termination, the rights you granted to operate the service end, while provisions that by their nature should survive — such as sections 5 and 8 — continue to apply.

10. Changes to these terms

I may update these terms from time to time. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms. The "Last updated" date above shows when they last changed.
